Cookie Policy

Last updated August 2026. Draft prepared for launch; review with legal counsel before the site's forms go live at scale, and translate for the Portuguese and Spanish versions of the site.

How we use cookies, and how you can control them

A cookie is a small file, or an equivalent piece of stored data, that a website places on your device. Cookies let a site remember things about your visit — such as a preference you've set — from one page to the next, or between visits. They're used across almost every website in different ways; below is exactly how truenorthqp.com uses them today, and how you can control that.

What this site currently sets

This site does not use Google Analytics, advertising cookies, or any third-party tracking script. The only thing it stores in your browser is two small, first-party localStorage entries:

Both are strictly necessary for the site to remember your own choices and do not require consent under the ePrivacy rules. Neither gives us any information about who you are, and neither is shared with anyone.

If that changes

If we add privacy-friendly analytics in future (to understand which pages are useful, for example), a cookie-category consent option for that will appear in the banner, it will only load after you actively accept it, and this page will be updated first to name it and explain what it does.

Controlling cookies in your browser

Most browsers accept cookies and local storage by default, but you can usually change your browser settings to decline them or delete what's already stored. Doing so for this site will simply mean the cookie banner reappears on your next visit and the theme resets to your system default. General, browser-by-browser instructions are available at www.aboutcookies.org — TrueNorth Quality Partners is not responsible for the content of that site.
